Code of Conduct for College Students
As a member of our college community, students are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:
1. Respect for Others: All students must treat each other, staff, faculty, and visitors with respect, courtesy, and consideration, regardless of differences in opinion, background, or identity.
2. Academic Integrity: Students are expected to uphold high standards of academic honesty and refrain from any form of cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty.
3. Responsible Behavior: Students should conduct themselves in a responsible and mature manner both on campus and in the broader community, while refraining from any behavior that may endanger themselves or others.
4. Compliance with Policies: Students are required to comply with all college policies and procedures, including those related to safety, health, and campus regulations.
5. Non-Discrimination: Discrimination, harassment, or bullying based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
6. Use of Facilities: Students should use college facilities and resources responsibly and in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
7. Positive Contribution: Students are encouraged to actively contribute to a positive and inclusive college environment, as well as participate constructively in academic, social, and extracurricular activities.
8. Alcohol and Substance Use: The use, possession, or distribution of alcohol, illegal drugs, or controlled substances on campus premises is strictly prohibited.
9. Compliance with the Law: Students are expected to comply with all laws, as well as college regulations.
10. Reporting Violations: Students have a responsibility to report any violations of this code of conduct to the appropriate college authorities.
